Our school

Our team is continually trained throughout the year in diverse aspects of their jobs and tasks as well as in their personal development.

Functioning as one big family, Kits4Kids International School Madagascar students and teachers grow and work to fulfill together our highest potential.

Our history

Kits4Kids International School Madagascar is part of the Kits4Kids Foundation family. The history of our organisation began as early as in 2003. Kits4Kids Foundation started as a private school to assist children with disabilities and disorders when our founders observed that there was something lacking in special education for Singapore. Most services were provided through welfare organisations and private therapy centres. There was little integration of services through a child centered, family oriented and society focused approach. This started Kits4Kids Special School which later developed into Kits4Kids Foundation Pte Ltd, a private social enterprise with different offices, centres and service agreements across the globe till date. The foundation is dedicated to provide special needs and social services for children and youth. Through areas in education, training, fellowships and opportunities through its various schools and establishments, Kits4Kids Foundation believes that every child is exceptional and can learn uniquely. All members of the Kits4Kids Foundation around the world are privately and fully individually owned and funded by one local professional trained by the founders themselves. All share the same vision and adopts the same educational approach at the core of their operations.

Back in 2009, based on the experience gained from the owner’s volunteering time with Kits4Kids Foundation in Singapore, a glimpse of the need on the education front of Madagascar, and a passion to change the world one student at a time, Kits4Kids Kindergarten Madagascar was born. Later on, following a need that arose among the youth in Madagascar to learn the English language, Kits4Kids Language Center was launched in 2010. Having grown to welcome primary-aged students, Kits4Kids Kindergarten became Kits4Kids International later changing into Kits4Kids International School Madagascar, serving students from preschool to highschool. True to its first calling, Kits4Kids International School Madagascar is still applying today the approach learnt from Kits4Kids Foundation and believes that every child is exceptional and can learn uniquely.

Today, Kits4Kids ISM is honored to be the first BTEC approved center in Madagascar, to be registered with the ISA (International School Assessment) and CollegeBoard allowing its students to sit for international programs and assessments. Still thriving to offer even a better quality education, we are a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Career- Related Programs.

Together, join us on a journey to provide quality education at an affordable price to enable the young people of Madagascar to fulfill their potential and become active members and leaders of the community.
